Scott Reichert (Owner/Founder)
Upon graduating from the University of South Florida in 1987, Scott jumped right into the business world, taking an accounting manager position for a major insurance company. Although successful, Scott realized that his new profession failed to satisfy his creative nature. Deciding to break away and follow his passion, he pursued a career in the film and television industry, starting in Orlando and eventually moving to Los Angeles in 1995. During this time, he continually heard questions from moms concerning the best ways to get their children into the entertainment business. Scott knew the answers, but proceeded with caution, hoping not to present information that would exploit children. It was at this time he realized that providing information about child acting and how the business works would be too limiting. The real need was for the parents to learn to nurture their child's creative tendencies. Scott began working on a magazine that would encompass not just acting, but music, art, creative play and more. Three years later, Creative Child Magazine was finally published in Los Angeles, CA. It has since grown into a national publication that continues to deliver parents the latest news on all areas of discovering and bolstering the inherent creativity within their children.
